Faith's Birthday

What is better than starting your day off with birthday donuts!!
Present time!!  She loves her Skylar.  Now Faith and Ellee get to have parties with their Cabbage Patch Dolls
We took the train to lunch
The girls got excited when the train came
Look at us!!  No hands
Faith also wanted to have dinner on the canoe.  What a fun peaceful night.  We drifted as we ate and Mom felt like she was in Little Mermaid.

Ummm these noodles are good
Daddy's big girl driven the canoe

Moms happy girl

She is getting to be a bit of a dare devil.  Much more comfortable then last year

Ellee even thought she was on the Titanic

Faith's First Day of Preschool

Faith picked and layed her outfit out.  She is all ready
Ellee thought she was going to school too, except she kept saying "mommy won't leave me"

The "school bus" came to our house the night before dropping off a special snack bag for the school year
Here is the school girl-ready and excited!!

That SMILE says it all

Sister is ready too

Dad got to see the classroom as well.  Dad was also there to make sure mom made it out with dry eyes.

Calender wall

There is a tree full of all the kids in the preschool classes and of course Faith is next to her good friend Nathan (too bad they are in different classes-but at least they get to see each others faces each day)

Books the kids read the first day of school
Faith excited to be with her new teachers Mrs. Alberta and Miss Marissa

Our Fathers day Celebration (a week earlier)

We surprised Dad with a whole day planned out.  We took Lightrail to downtown and had a WONDERFUL lunch. Amazing sandwiches ate by all!!

Each girl wore a special Dad shirt-Dad must really made Faith smile :)

And this is Ellee's shirt-she really loves her daddy too!

"Hold on tight"  the girls really enjoyed the train

Us four

After lunch we got ice cream to share-yummy day
That night we had a special dinner at the lake.  The ducks loved our left overs.

"Oh dad you are so funny!!"

We went on an "adventure hike" Faith collected all kinds of things, here dad is fishing something out of the lake for her.

Hiking around

Camping for Fathers Day

The cousins hanging out sippen some fluids

The banner we hung in honor of our Daddys

Proud Dads holding their shirts

Tim and Mark sporten their new (and totally cute) shirts

The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock.  Faith was really into it.  Here she is waiting for the bobber to get yanked down (in hopes of catching a fish)

And this is how Ellee fished...

The crew riding back to the camp site after catching 3 fish

Kelly made these super crafty work books for the kids to color, both my girls LOVED it very much.  Thanks Kelly!!

In Lieu of Donald Ducks Birthday

The girls colored Donald Duck faces at home and brought them to the pond to "celebrate" the day.
The ducks were pretty aggressive so we had to sit on the tables.
 The hungry ducks...
The kids posing on the rock while us moms hoped no one was going to take an accidental swim.
